And December really is a super time to visit Kilkenny with Yulefest running for the whole month, showcasing the Yulefest Weekend Christmas Market and festive events across the county. When you're planning a visit to Kilkenny this festive season, why not drop in and enjoy our renowned Cream Tea - a home-baked plain and a fruit scone served with jam and cream and your choice of barista coffee or freshly brewed tea €9.50 per person... is there anything more reviving after a spot of Christmas browsing in the City. Available 7 days from 11am.
The festive season is a lovely time to arrange to meet a friend for a spot of lunch - we serve lunch from 12noon till 3pm daily with favourites like our Soup of the Day with Brown Bread, Chicken Wrap, Caesar Salad, Toasties and rustic chips as well as daily Sweet Treats like Millionaires Shortbread, Lemon Drizzle or Carrot Cake.

Festive Stays at Butler House
Come and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the lead-in to Christmas in Kilkenny or take time out to chill and unwind after Christmas with one of our Christmas hotel breaks. Something you can enjoy in the most perfectly relaxed surroundings, with all the attractions of Kilkenny City, quite literally on your doorstep.
